Potato Steaks

A family favorite for years.  Simple, easy and delicious!

8 medium potatoes washed and sliced
1/2 tsp of salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp of Montreal steak seasoning
2 tbsp of vegetable oil or olive oil

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Pat washed potatoes with paper towel and slice them in circles.   In a deep dish  place the potatoes then add the spices and oil.  Toss well to make sure the slices are evenly coated.
Rub the baking sheet with cold butter.  Transfer the potato slices to the baking sheet and spread out into one layer.
Roast in the oven for 45 min or until golden brown and crisp.  Flip once with a spatula to brown the other side as well.  If you'd like sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve:)

That's all.  Enjoy!

P.S. My husband also grills potatoes whole with the skin on (wash them first).  They are super good and of course super easy (no slicing or any work for that matter).
