Tiramisu Cake


Traditional Tiramisu is a popular Italian dessert made of ladyfingers dipped in coffee and layered with a mixture whipped eggs, sugar, mascarpone cheese and cocoa powder.  But I personally like to make little changes in recipes and keep it cost friendly too.  Mascarpone cheese is great if you have it but regular cream cheese is just fine too:) So here we go.

Potato Pancakes


I love making these potato cakes for a change once in a while.  They are easy and really tasty!  You don't even have to buy a lot of ingredients if you have potatoes in the house.  I like to have already seasoned Bob Evans Hash Browns in my fridge as one of my easy and quick dinner options.  You can use any brand and seasonings of your choice.  
Take your potatoes to the next level!

Banana Pineapple Smoothie



A nice way to start your morning is treating yourself with this protein-calcium -fiber all in one smoothie.  And of course some cinnamon would be just right to give a nice touch to it.
Enjoy and have a nice morning!


Ingredients:

1 cup Silk Vanilla Almondmilk
2 tbsp yogurt (any kind)
1 banana
1/2 cup pineapple chunks (best if frozen)
1-2 tbsp golden flex seed
1 tbs honey
1tbs lemon juice
Cinnamon for dusting 

 Directions:

Combine all the ingredients in a blender in which order they are listed and blend until smooth.  Adjust the sweetness to your taste and don't be afraid to mix with your favorite fruits too.  
lastly garnish with a couple banana slices and cinnamon stick or powder.
Enjoy because you deserve it!

Smoothie: Extremely Raspberry


My inspiration for raspberries comes from my husband who is very particular about his smoothies I guess.  So I wanted to make him smile with this smoothie and that's exactly what I saw on his face after he drank this pink awesomeness.  Well, I don't mean to brag, but he also said this was my best smoothie yet:)

Ingredients:

1 cup of mango juice or lemon tea
1 cup of frozen raspberries 
1/2 of frozen pineapple

Directions:

Combine all the ingredients in the same order as listed above and blend them until smooth. Garnish with blueberry and raspberry.

Smoothie: Blackberry and Watermelon Madness



Ingredients:

1/4 mango or peach iced tea

1 1/2 cups of watermelon 
1 cup blackberries (best if frozen)
1/2 cup ice cubes (optional)

Directions: 


Combine all the ingredients in the order in which they are listed and blend them until smooth.  If you prefer thicker smoothie just add more ice cubes.  

Adjust the sweetness to your taste by adding honey or any sweetener you wish.
